Meghann & Tim get married! Sheraton Riverwalk Tampa Wedding ~ Red and Black Wedding Colors

Meghann and Tim......a breath of fresh air! They chose to be married at the beautiful Sacred Heart Church in downtown Tampa, with the reception hosted at The Sheraton Riverwalk.  They were such a breeze...knew what they loved and just needed my guidance on how to put it all together. I introduced them to the right vendors to make this happen within the wedding parameters, ones that matched their personalities, and everything fell into place quite perfectly.

Her details were simple, not overstated, and just enough for the ballroom we were in. I tell brides all the time when they worry that colored linens or patterned linens will be "too much" for their room, not to. It is actually something you need most of the time in order to make the room complete. You never want to look like you tried and gave up. This ballroom was filled with the right amount of color, linen pattern and detail.

Her table numbers were not your traditional 1 through 15. I told her to chose numbers that were significant to her/to him/their story and then we will explain that story on the card itself. This served as an "ice breaker" to each table as well. A great personalization!

Oh No! A little too high??
Be careful catching that thing....you may lose your dress!

The night ended on a high energy buzz. Thank you to all the wonderful vendors that helped make this day a dream come true for them.

Lauren and Daniel get married! Don Vicente Historic Inn Ybor City ~ Purple, Navy, Red Wedding Colors

Lauren and Daniel - the music lovers that they were - not only chose their favorite venue (The Don Vicente Historic Inn), their favorite colors, food and decor..but they chose music very carefully. This is often a part of the wedding that couples seem to spend less time on. It is one of the last things that gets thought about through the process, yet it should be treated as one of the most important elements of the day.  {More blog postings on the music topic very soon}.

Both are teachers, with a great degree of passion and love for each other. It was just a joy to spend time with them, no matter what our task at hand was.

Lauren chose navy as her primary color, with reds and purples as secondary hues. All the guys wore black suits and blue ties, with the groom in a white tie.
The tables were mixed with three different centerpieces to help on cost. Mixing up candlesticks, lanterns with candles, and short centerpieces, the room became the dream Lauren had in her head.

It is also very important that the wedding cake, the floral on the cake, the stationary, the candy bar, the candy bar backdrop, all play a part in the "story" of the wedding.

The night ended with a celebration of LOVE and of course with the careful selection of music. Daniel sung to his bride that evening....{her surprise}.
This was SO SWEET. Congratulations to Lauren and Daniel!
The fantastic team of vendors - I applaud you.
